BALANCE THERAPY

We Want to Help
You Move with Confidence

According to the National Council on Aging, every 11 seconds an older adult is treated in the emergency room for a fall. Participating in a fall prevention program can help reduce your risk of falling so you can have a high level of physical ability, be satisfied with your quality of life and maintain your level of independence.

Balance Therapy

Do you often hesitate when you walk downstairs, walk a curb or feel like you need to frequently look down when you are walking? If so, then you may need balance therapy to avoid falling. According to the Journal of Public Health, falls are the leading cause of fatal and nonfatal injuries among older adults, but falls do not have to be a part of your story.

Research supports that you can reduce your risk of falling by 35% if you participate consistently in an exercise program that focuses on improving your strength, balance, and endurance. Our balance therapy program focuses on those areas.

Our balance therapy program is delivered virtually by a physical therapy professional who leads you and gives you feedback through a real-time, live session of strength and balance exercises.  Our sessions are available to you one-on-one or in a group.
